Spend the day on a carefully selected route around the sandstone-peak scenery, such as Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain when available. Use the confirmed scenic transport and include breaks. The aim is a coherent day, not every attraction in the larger park.
Visit Tianmen Mountain using the ticketed route assigned for your confirmed entry. Choose suitable walkways and allow time for queues and weather changes. Return to the hotel afterward; the Grand Canyon glass bridge is a separate attraction and is not included here.
Travel by a suitable confirmed rail-and-road or private-road connection to Fenghuang. Check into your accommodation and explore the old town’s lanes and Tuo River bridges. Stay for the evening atmosphere without having to make a long return journey.
Enjoy a final riverside walk before a transfer to Fenghuang’s rail connection or another agreed departure point. The exact station and onward tickets are confirmed together. A return to Zhangjiajie needs additional transfer time and is not assumed.
