Smooth way to book train tickets in China I only used the company's service for train bookings so far. My experience is absolutely positive. We were a family of five and indicated our travel times more than three week in advance and got very good seats next to each other. We booked 1st class. Use Travel China for your train bookings I used Travel China to purchase all of my train tickets. I scheduled seven different train connections in my month in China. I did not want to be waiting along my trip for bookings to open, so I sent my itinerary to Travel China. When bookings opened, they purchased the tickets for me, sending me the confirmations. Easy train ticket managment I am a US citizen and I applied for a 60 day visa through the Chinese Embassy. Part of the visa application process was to have a detailed plan of travel to include ticketed airfare, pre-booked hotel and other travel plans. Normally, train tickets in China can only be booked 2 weeks in advance, but I learned that I can make a reservation using China Travel Guide well in advance. This aided me in providing a comprehensive travel plan to the Chinese Embassy. My visa was approved and I flew to Beijing, with a plan to stay 3 weeks in Beijing and then take the train to Xi’an. Being that tickets cannot be issued until 2 weeks prior, I was keeping my fingers crossed that my advanced planning would work and China Travel Guide would do their thing. Sure enough, my tickets were confirmed on the date promised. I took the train from Beijing to Xi’an, then to Chengdu, then to Chongqing and finally to Zhangjiajie. Each time, China Travel Guide was right there securing the tickets for me. I worked exclusively with Cissy Li and and she would contact me with confirmation by email and Whatsapp. In the rare instance where my selected seat wasn’t available, she provided me with options that were suitable for my travel needs. Using the China Travel Guide for my train reservations made my travel through China easy and stress free. I am very grateful for their service and the work that Cissy Li did. Easy to organize a train trip in China with China Travel Guide We worked with China Travel Guide to organize train trips across China over 2 weeks. Working with Cissy over WeChat was super convenient to adapt bookings to evolving constrains, although we could not book all trains we wished for, especially to ensure that we would travel as a family of 4 in a single compartment in night trains.
