10 kilometers (6.2 miles) northeast of Deqin County of Yunnan Province, Meili Snow Mountain is a holy land for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. The stunning sight of "peak covered by golden sunshine" especially contributes to the fame of Meili Snow Mountain. The main peak Kawagarbo has not been conquered until now. Feilai Temple on the mountain provides the best angel to appreciate the snow mountain.
