I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for all the support and assistance you provided during our recent tour to China. Your professionalism, prompt responses, and attention to detail helped make our trip a memorable and enjoyable experience. The arrangements were excellent, and we truly appreciated the care and effort that you and the Travel China Guide team put into ensuring everything ran smoothly. Now that I am back, it is the perfect time to reflect on our wonderful trip to China—a journey that has been a dream for most of us for the last two years. I would like to highly commend the tour guides' and drivers' services. Everyone was exceptionally professional, polite, and always waiting for us punctually at the airport or train station at every stop. The drivers thoughtfully provided water whenever we returned from a city tour, and the guides gave excellent, detailed explanations of the history of each city we visited. I would especially like to thank Ms. Annie, our guide in Zhangjiajie. She was incredibly kind. Despite our very late arrival at the airport when most restaurants were closed, she managed to arrange food for us. She was remarkably thoughtful and always had a smile on her face. Ms. Catherine was also wonderful. She was passionate about Beijing's history and showed great patience while guiding us through the Forbidden City. Additionally, I must mention Maggie, who accompanied us to the Terracotta Army. She was highly professional and efficient, ensuring we saw everything we wanted. Regarding the accommodations, I thoroughly enjoyed the hotels in Xi'an and Zhangjiajie. Even though they were 4-star hotels, they provided everything we needed and were in excellent locations. My only critique would be regarding the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World. For a 5-star hotel, I felt it did not offer good value for money; the furniture was quite dated and the bathroom was very small. While the location was great, we only stayed for three nights and usually returned too late from our tours to fully explore the surrounding area. I would also like to highlight your assistance, Emily, throughout the booking and tour planning process. You helped us immensely by including all the places we wanted to visit, and you arranged the best possible itinerary so we could enjoy the sightseeing and landscapes while saving valuable time.

I have enjoyed the tour with your company so much, that I am recommending you everywhere including online on Facebook. I would love to do another tour with you in 2028 but not to the same spots, so if you do have another tour for then in May after the holidays preferably can you kindly let me know, any tours not going to the same spots.

On behalf of every member of our group, I would like to say a big "Thank You" to Kelly for organising this wonderful trip to Chengdu, Leshan and Mt. Emei for us. You looked into every single detail very carefully and thoughtfully. Our lovely guide Connie was just amazing. We look back on our tour with wonderful memories. The entire journey was exceptionally well organized, and everything ran smoothly from the initial planning stages through the completion of our tour. Her professionalism, patience, and expertise were truly impressive. In Changsha, Ricky's strong connection to the local culture and community was evident throughout our time with him. Combined with his warm and friendly personality, he made our visit both enjoyable and enriching. The greatest highlight of our trip was Rosy. She is truly an exceptional person and guide who made a lasting impression on our entire family. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience, always showing genuine care, enthusiasm, and dedication. Her thoughtful recommendations, attention to detail, and the time she generously devoted to us made every day special. We will always remember her fondly and treasure the wonderful memories we created together. The sightseeing program was diverse, well balanced, and thoughtfully organized. We especially appreciated the pacing, which allowed us to fully enjoy each destination without ever feeling rushed. We were also very pleased with the hotels selected for us. They were comfortable, clean, and generally in excellent locations, making it easy to explore each destination. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation for your support throughout the booking and planning process. Your professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication gave us confidence from the very beginning and contributed greatly to a stress-free and enjoyable travel experience. I’ve now found the time to write a proper, more detailed reply. The main point is that I was very satisfied with Travel China and can only recommend that everyone uses TCG. The details: Booking. The website is clearly laid out; I found it helpful and well-designed. I also really liked the fact that, once I’d finished, I could access all my bookings in one place with a single login. There is room for improvement, though – I had to search for a while to find the option to book tickets for the show and the zoo, and I’m sure there were other things I didn’t spot (in other cities). The support you provided was excellent. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to go on the trip to Datong, as we weren’t staying at a hotel there. You sorted it out brilliantly by combining it with the train tickets. It was also great that the zoo tickets could be rebooked without any hassle when the zoo was closed due to bad weather. I wasn’t so keen on the fact that the excursions in Beijing were organised by someone else; I would have preferred to have you as the point of contact for everything. We were very satisfied with the four excursions. We saw a lot; it was superbly organised – there’s nothing that could have been done better. The first three tour guides – Roger, Lilly and Helen – were very good; Jessica was all right, though the sound quality was very poor. In the end, I was annoyed that I hadn’t booked the hotels through TCG as well. Unfortunately, a friend who lives in Shanghai only told me about TCG far too late, when I’d asked him how to book train tickets. By then, the hotels had already been booked. And that’s my final suggestion. TCG should be more visible in European search engines. I’ve just checked again, and TCG doesn’t even appear as an option. It’s a shame for everyone who misses out on you, and for you too. We were very impressed by China and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Thank you very much for your significant contribution to that.

Working with Wendy is a delight- she helped refine our 10+ days tour that traversed 5 provinces. Everything is well organized and we all have a memorable trip. All the tour guides were great! Omar (Urumqi-Turpan) is exceptional in time management- he made sure we didna€?t miss any interesting stops in our action packed days. And when the Gochang donkey ride is not available, he replaced it with an even better horse carriage ride to Turpana€?s night market! Lily (Dunhuang) is so resourceful and well connected- the extra activities she arranged for us were an extra bonus! Carol (Xian) is very detail oriented, and was able to juggle our activities in lieu of the heavy traffic around the City Wall area. Her caring and dedication really shined when she went the extra miles to help us navigate the Emergency system when my son had gastroenteritis, she stayed with us from evening till late night. Adam (Luoyang) is very knowledgeable and shared with us many interesting sites, no skipping even when it was rainy.

Dear Wendy and the entire team, I just wanted to write to say a huge thank you for making our 14-day trip to China such an incredible experience. From my very first contact with Wendy in the office through to every guide we met during our journey, the service was simply outstanding. Every single detail was so thoughtfully planned and organised that we were able to relax completely and enjoy everything China had to offer. Our guides were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and genuinely cared that we had the best possible experience. We always felt incredibly well looked after, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. What really impressed us was the attention to detail. There were so many thoughtful touches that made the trip effortless. For example, arranging for our luggage to be collected overnight and checked in for our internal flight was something we never expected, and it made travelling so much easier. On the mornings when we had early departures, our guides had arranged for the hotels to prepare breakfast bags so we didn't miss a meal. Whenever train schedules meant we were travelling over lunchtime, packed lunches were organised for us. It was clear that every aspect of the journey had been anticipated, allowing us to simply enjoy the experience. The hotels throughout the trip were of an excellent standard, and every transfer, excursion and activity ran seamlessly. We never had to worry about a thing because your team had already thought of everything. Before booking, I spent a great deal of time researching companies for a China tour, comparing itineraries, reviews and prices. I can honestly say this trip exceeded every expectation. It was exceptional value for money, and without doubt one of the best holidays we have ever taken. Thank you so much for your help in this booking, I know it wasn’t easy with us not doing the same thing. You made everything very easy and I will definitely be in touch when I have another group travelling. I am planning to return with my friend and her family. Everything worked like clockwork, the guides in Xian (Roger), Zhangjiajie (Tony) and Beijing (Helen) were fantastic. Roger had a huge amount of knowledge and the group was very happy. Tony was excellent and our Henry and I had the best time in Zhangjiajie, it was a highlight. Helen was fantastic as well, she gave great advice to help us get through security quickly for the forbidden city so we could maximise our time. She really knew the best ways to do things. They were all fantastic, the drivers were all amazing as well.

We really enjoyed our tour to China. It was well organised and good value. The communication was very good prior to, and throughout, the trip. It was very helpful to receive the WeChat contact details for the various Guides, prior to our arrival at each destination. The destinations and sights selected were all interesting and it was a pleasure to visit. The hotels were all of a good standard and seemed to be well located. I was pleased we upgraded our train tickets to 1st Class. The Guides were all great. They were all waiting to meet us as we arrived by plane, or train, and they were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to chat with them about their own lives, and get to know them personally (Selina, Tracy, Minmin, Linda, Carol and Ada). I was also very happy with Wendy's assistance in organising the trip. Your communication was prompt and clear, and overall it was easy to make all the arrangements.

Hi Emily, We are right now heading to Xi'an. I would like to let you know that we had a very wonderful stay at Beijing. We particularly enjoyed having Kevin as a guide, and will definitely recommend him. Everyone was very fond of him. A super professional, very kind, patient, knowledgeable, and charismatic. I pick up my family at the airport. They were sad to leave China. They love it .Every single day. Very impressed how clean everything is. How people are very nice and kind. I local restaurants all very helpful with helping choosing from menu in Chinese language. Guide were very pleasant informative some came with their children which was wonderful. They made friends with them, Cora love girls, they were communicating holding hands. Brian took over 5000 pictures. Everything what you planned for them for excellent choices and educational. We have just returned from our trip to China, expertly planned by Emily. I don't know what we would have done without her help. From me changing things last minute, to requesting different hotels from the norm.. Emily was so helpful. I'm really glad I booked with Travel China Guide and Emily, I will be recommending her to any friends that want to travel to China. There was only a little blip and that was with train bookings over the dragon boat festival period, but lack of availability wasn't Emily's fault.
